So, I'm here revisiting this and just had a hearty laugh at those last posts.
I have come to hit a low point in my life, and now it's time to rise up. I fucked up a great oportunity and now, due to pretty much magic, I'm in possesion of a new computer so I can work faster and better.
It is completely unacceptable that there are personal projects stalled from years ago, and it's time to change that. I'll take the next six months working on those and basically acquiring new skills, and creating a new portfolio so I can be very awesome and leave the past behind. It's hard to have debts already, but it's worst to have debts with your past-self which you just can't ditch, and which have some awful interest rates...
It is key to mention that this year I learned about the reason all previous attempts at change have failed, and that's because I (not just I...) was focusing on the wrong aspects of it. Some guy named G. Bateson discovered (or rather proposed?) that there are Six levels of change. Most people only act on the first two, like the fattie with the new year's resolution that fades after two weeks. In order to really change you have to go all the way through to the deep levels and change it all from there.
Anyhoo, to business: There are things that need to be done, and it would probably be wise to keep a log just in case. So that's why I'll try to write here daily.
As of today, the whole place is a mess: I have the boxes lying around from the new computer, papers cluttering desks, and food that waits to be cooked. Also need to transfer some new files from the other computer in order to work well.
So today purposes are:
- Clean this shithole
- Eat and cook
- Transfer the missing files
- EDIT: Oh yes, very important: Don't watch porn!
I'll post tomorrow with more stuff I guess.
